FILTER-MANIA

A collection of augmented reality filters we've done for our clients an partners over the years.

SHOWTIME

On Stéitsch is a yearly luxembourgish festival organized to give young and upcoming artists an opportunity to show their talent and present their projects to the public.
I was invited to create an augmented reality filter that could be used by the visitors and participants in order to promote the festival on social media.

We wanted to convey something festive while at the same time making the filter recognizable as being part of the On Stéitsch festival. This is why, we created this multicolored confetti rain in red, white and black, being the festival's colors. In order to make the experience as immersive as possible, we used segmentation to make the confetti fall in front and behind the user.
The more the user blinks, the more confetti will fall, thus making the filter a funny interactive experience for the user. This filter allowed the promotion through "stories" of the festival before and during it's happening, creating more awareness and organic traffic on social media.

INKED BY NATURE

Ginkgo Studio  is a tattoo studio based in Luxembourg.
The studio is specialized in ornamental and floral tattoo style and together we developed
a
Face-Filter that represented the founder's mood and style.
When tapping on the screen, the user is able to change the tattoo on the face and also to choose the intensity of the filter's color grading.

DRINK-UP

Drink-up is a local luxembourgish startup that specializes in creating customized glass water bottles, encouraging the customer to stay hydrated and be ecologically responsible.

We wanted to make this filter as interactive and intuitive as possible, and that's why the bottle follows the user's face and tilts and opens up to "drink-up" as soon as the users open their mouth.

LIES!

Lies! is a campaign by the ministry of education, children and health of Luxembourg, encouraging the younger audience to read more and rediscover stories through books that they might know from pop-culture or even movies.
The campaign also encourages the users to talk about their favorite books and stories and share them online.
The filter we created for the campaign in collaboration with the agency Moskito, lets the user randomly generate a "3 word" story logline, then they need to find out which book this story comes from. Also, a second mode of the filter allows the user to put together their own "3 word" logline, to share their own favorite book or story with the world.

ATTITUDE-KING

Daniel Moutinho, is a luxembourgish comedian. He makes his audience laugh through videos and sketches on his Instagram account. His most renowned character, "Joss den Hellen" (Joe the bright), most recognizable with his distinctive wig and his classic mustache, spreads his love for the luxembourgish language and tries to lecture his viewers with his unrelenting attitude.

This filter lets anyone wear the classic "Joss den Hellen" look, by giving the user the matching wig and mustache. The user can now impersonate the comedian, and most fun of all play with the bouncy wig, that moves dynamically in sync with the user's head movement.
